PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE ….

This is a business I truly enjoy. What makes it particularly so, is that daily we get to see the immediate benefit our work brings to a variety of people. Everyday there are fewer strangers in stores and fewer streets in towns that we don't know. Instead, it's Hi Jim and Mary, drove by the house last week and I see that new garden went in. 

Now, we are taking the next step in opening up communications with our clients. Owning and managing a WEB site (I'll have help) is going to be a brand new experience. I see great potential.  It should be live o/a June 20, 2001. To all my clients whom I've told about this site, HELLO! …And the same HELLO to anyone else reading this. You are a perspective client, even if you are still in school.

OK, I've conquered the world, let's discuss my plans for the WEB page.  It is a business site, but where possible will use an informal approach. Aside from learning about my business and how it can help your business or individual plans, I want this WEB site to also offer a broader information content for its visitors.

My WEB master tells me that our  link to Inman News, a well respected source for daily Real Estate information should be ready to go about the same time this site is live. Shortly thereafter, we'll bring another link in for Financial or Home Improvement information.

We will also have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page which I will build upon over time. And of course we will give you an easy way from this WEB site to contact us by E-mail. In future President Messages, which will appear about every two months, I'll note the hot events and trends that are occurring in Real Estate or Appraising and then go in-depth on selected issues.

As we mature this site, I see appraisal orders via a secure WEB form, and a Secure Client Section under password control  for Clients to check on Appraisal status and "Customer Only Features." I see a separate page set aside  for a "message from clients, affiliates or industry experts such as a lender, a home inspector, builder, etc.. And at some point, may add links to client sites.

Thanks to my staff for helping me launch this WEB site, and especially for the key role you have played in making this a successful business.
